The impact of globalization in the end is unavoidable. The local populations which face the consequences of the world becoming one global village react with tools they are familiar with. The soft power of local traditions and beliefs can eventually prevail over incoming alien forces. The result can be an amalgam of the new and old or the restoration of the original state of things.
